VillageGIVE connects people, organizations, and resources to create opportunities and strengthen communities.
Our vision is a community where young people build strong foundations, families find support, creativity thrives, and seniors remain connected and valued.
We develop initiatives and work alongside schools, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and families. Our role may include convening, program development, fundraising, communications, and connecting people with qualified partners.
How the village began
A fifth grade class project grew into Bottles for Life: gifts and encouragement for seniors, with Alannah and Cody Atkins, their family, and community supporters.
The October 2019 public account documents senior outreach in Atlanta and a joint medical debt relief effort in the Bay Area. VillageGIVE’s work has since grown to include arts collaboration and community storytelling.

An Oakland native, nonprofit executive, and entrepreneur, Quixote leads VillageGIVE’s strategy, operations, and partnerships. His work brings people and organizations together around shared community goals.
